Pauline Regan and Antony Edwards accepted a cheque for £300 last week from representatives of the Soroptimist International (SI) Yeovil, Sherborne & Districts. The Food Bank is incredibly grateful for their continuing support into 2024 as their nominated charity.
Soroptimist International has been established in the area for over 70 years. Members are women from a variety of ages, backgrounds and occupations with one mission; that through education and empowerment, they enable women and girls to achieve their individual and collective potential.
They meet on a monthly basis at the Manor Hotel, Yeovil and have a number of informal friendly gatherings at other venues.
