Following a meeting of the Probus Club of Sherborne on 21st November 2023, David Kemp, Chair of Trustees for Sherborne Food Bank, was delighted to receive a cheque from their guest speaker, The Lord Sedwill KCMG, who kindly donated his appearance fee to our charity. Lord Sedwill had presented a compelling discussion on Global Security & the UK, including food and climate.
Such generous gestures help the Food Bank to continue its work of emergency food delivery throughout a 78 square mile radius of Sherborne and the surrounding villages – as well as to fund a series of local outreach projects to help alleviate food poverty.
