English Heritage has chosen Sherborne Food Bank as part of its support of food banks nationally, with a special code for FREE ENTRY AT SHERBORNE OLD CASTLE for families receiving food bank assistance.
The code gives one-time entry, for up to two adults + six children, and is worth £20+
We are including a leaflet with our deliveries to families and a free day out can be enjoyed by them until 3rd November 2024.
Dr Nick Merriman, English Heritage’s Chief Executive, says:
“As a charity, one of our key aims is to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy the great historic sites in our care. And although we’ve seen our visitor and member numbers increase, we know that for some, the opportunity of a day out is simply out of reach. We’re really delighted to help those who are often most in need of some time out with their family and friends.”
