Local organisation, Help & Kindness has gathered together a list of emergency and affordable food projects across Dorset, including Food Banks, community fridges, and social supermarkets.

They say: Times are hard, and many of us need a bit of extra support at the moment. Rising food costs, redundancy, repossession, fuel price rises, and more, all put a huge pressure on us all.

People in our communities are skipping meals so they can pay for heating and other bills, or chosing to feed their children and not themselves because they don’t have enough money to feed the whole family. If you are facing these difficult choices, you are not alone and support is available.

There are lots of food projects across Dorset who can help provide emergency food to you if you need it. There are also projects that sell food at more affordable prices, which can help too.

People are ready to help you and those you care for. Do get in touch.
