On Saturday 22nd June we welcomed volunteers, supporters and referrers to the Food Bank’s annual AGM and volunteer ‘thank you’ event, held at The Digby Hall in Sherborne.
We’re grateful to Persimmon Homes for supporting our volunteers by sponsoring the event, including refreshments from Oliver’s Coffee House and The Pear Tree Deli Cafe and to Johnsons Stalbridge Linen Services for kindly donating the table linens.
Sherborne Food Bank currently has 87 volunteers working behind the scenes to enable the weekly delivery of emergency food to some 40+ families. They rarely get to meet each other, so this annual event is a great opportunity for them to do so.

At the conclusion of the Chair’s report, which included a background to the charity, a Financial Report and a Q&A session, David Kemp said:
